The Golden Rule π‘
To warm up an email address, the account connected to it must have an enabled seat.
- You can invite as many users as you like to your team.
- Only users with enabled seats can use lemwarm to warm up email addresses.
β
Example:
- Total Seats: 86 paid seats.
- Assigned Seats: 36 seats allocated to users.

β
Why Is the Seat System Useful? π€
The seat system helps you:
- Manage User Access: Assign and reassign seats as needed.
- Optimize Costs: Invite users for administrative purposes without paying for extra seats.
π‘ Pro Tip: Disable seat access for team members who donβt need to warm up email addresses but still need to collaborate. VoilΓ βefficiency achieved!
β
What Happens When You Invite a User? π€
Depending on how you invite users:
- Add as Paying Seat: Seat access is automatically enabled, and a subscription is assigned.
- Add as Guest: Seat access is not enabled, but the user can still join the team. You can enable their seat later if needed.
β
How to Enable or Disable Seats for Users
1οΈβ£ Go to Plans & Billing in your account.

2οΈβ£ Enable or disable seats as required.

β
Access Permissions Based on Seats π
Hereβs how seat access impacts users:
- Admins Without Seat Access:
- Access to all sections except starting the lemwarm warmup process.
β
- Admins With Seat Access:
- Full access to all features, including starting lemwarm warmup.
β
- Members Without Seat Access:
- Cannot access Plans & Billing or assign seats.
- Can access other sections but cannot start the lemwarm warmup process.
π‘ Tip: Members needing seat access must request it from an admin.
β
How Seats and Subscriptions Affect Email Address Connections
- With lemlist Subscription: Connect multiple email addresses based on your lemlist plan. All connected addresses can use lemwarm.
- Without lemlist Subscription:
- One seat = one email address = one account = one subscription.
- To warm up multiple email addresses, youβll need multiple seats.
