Your email list = all the people you’re reaching out to via your emails.
Based on the people you're contacting (and their email addresses), you can transform your outreach into a success or .. not.
→ If you send emails to invalid addresses you risk having a high bounce rate.
→ If you target the wrong audience, your emails could get flagged as spam.
This can ruin your email reputation, lower your deliverability score and send your emails in spam!
The key to avoid this is to keep a healthy email list.

So, how healthy is your email list?
To check how healthy your email list is, you can 👇
1. Check your bounce rate
An email bounce is any email message rejected by your recipient's mail server and returned to you, the original sender.
lower email bounce rate = better email list health
ℹ️ Your bounce rate should be under 5%
2. Verify your email list quality
This will tell you which email addresses on your list are deliverable or invalid.
more invalid or risky email addresses (like spam traps) = worse email list health
ℹ️ You can use tools like Debounce or Bouncer to verify your email list quality
3. Monitor your deliverability
